What is the project about?
The project „Different, but equally important – DIVERSIDAD“ is a 6-day Youth Exchange (+2 travel days), with intercultural learning and promoting mobility as the main subject. During the exchange, each day we will create vlog and short blog, also. In the vlog, participants will share their experience from that day, which will be recorded and edited in 3-minute video, with reflection from that day. The blog will be a transcript of the vlog, in order to include all the young people (visually impaired, with hearing problems, etc). On the last day of the exchange, we will organize an event in Pozega, and we will invite representatives from local, regional, and national organizations, and local governments from Pozega, Cacak, Loznica and Obrenovac. The participants will have the chance to present their countries, cultures, and the final movie from this exchange, also. The movie will be played in the Cultural Center of Pozega. The exchange is made in that way, so that the number of the working days corresponds to the number of the participating countries. In the first half of each working day, we will go through variety of topics, such as differences in education, economic status of each country, employment, opportunities, life of young people, opportunities for young people, etc. The other half of the working day is reserved for the countries, with an emphasis on food and culture. At the beginning of the exchange, the participants will talk about their previous knowledge or prejudices / attitudes related to the participants’ country, their opinion on what is youth policy, what they expect from this exchange, etc.
The participating countries are: Greece, Italy, Lithuania, and Serbia.
